Deskripsi Pekerjaan :

1. Lead and manage the R&D team to develop new and innovative calcium carbonate-based products and solutions.
2. Conduct research to improve existing formulations, processes, and technologies used in the production of calcium carbonate products.
3. Collaborate with product development teams to tailor products for the construction materials, polymers, and paper industries.
4. Analyze and address technical challenges related to the use of calcium carbonate in various applications, with a focus on performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
5. Manage and oversee the design, execution, and analysis of laboratory experiments and pilot projects.
6. Provide technical support to the sales, marketing, and production teams to help communicate the benefits of new technologies and products.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
8. Develop and manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resources for multiple projects.
9. Prepare technical reports, patents, and publications as necessary.

Kualifikasi :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in research and development, with a focus on calcium carbonate or similar materials in the construction materials, polymer, or paper industries.
3. Expertise in the application and processing of calcium carbonate products.
4. Experience leading successful R&D projects from concept to commercialization.
5. Experience with laboratory equipment, pilot scale operations, and product testing methodologies.
6. Ability to manage and motivate research teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
8. Good written and oral communication skills to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. Knowledge of regulatory standards and sustainability practices in the relevant industry is a plus.
